Indivia resumed cultivation.

We cultivated indivia several years ago
The timing of cultivation was bad, so the taste was bitter and could not be made delicious.
I had given up cultivation for several years.

However, since I learned about new varieties and cultivation methods last summer, I started cultivating again.
The condition of delicious indivia…
· Do not cultivate large
· Low bitterness, fresh leaves
· White leaves in the center are beautiful

We cultivated with these delicious conditions as the goal.
And harvesting began several days ago.

We began harvesting radicchio rosso di treviso tardivo.

Leaf chicory’s most exclusive vegetable tartivo began harvesting.

This year I have been growing well because I have increased organic fertilizer.
As future warmer days increase, the coloring will be poor, so we plan to harvest early.

I made pickles with colorful root vegetables

The third colorful radish harvest of this season began.

The varieties which started harvesting are
 ”red radish”
 ”red meat”
 ”purple radish”
 ”wasabi radish”.

In addition to the colorful radish,
we used colorful carrots and cauliflower for the pickles we made this time.

It is easy to make, boil water mixed with vinegar and salt, boil lightly.
Then pick it up in WaTom special vinegar for a day and it will be completed.

These radishes are slightly smaller in size but will grow in the future.
However, as demand increases,
 harvesting is completed while waiting for growth,
 so you recommend an earlier order.

Purple soup made with purple vegetables

I made soup using beautifully colored purple vegetables.

Material vegetables
・Violet Frill Kale
・Purple carrot
・Leaf chicory
・Mushroom
・Onion
Soup is seasoned with vegetable broth.

The purple frill kale turns green when heated.
The finished soup is dark purple, people who eat will be surprised.
This color is the color of polyphenols.

Feel the spring in Cima di Rapa (Turnip Tops)

Cima di Rapas, which is growing early this season, has come to the late in a season of this term.
Flowers begin to bloom when this vegetable comes to the late in a season.

Reef chicory that resembles a big flower

Rossa di Verona Precoce resembles a red flower that blooms largely.
It starts harvesting this season when it becomes the most severe cold.

The characteristic of this chicory is that the center getheres roundly like petals.
It is very beautiful vegetable which is rare among leaf chicories.
The harvest time is normally between February and March in every year, but it started harvesting from January in this year.

One of the interesting useage is to serve foods on the leaves, just like a plate. Verona Precoce is delicious with good chewiness and a bit of bitterness.
